What Is a Certified Translation?

In Quebec, the title of Certified Translator is reserved for members of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ).

Choosing a certified translator means entrusting your documents to a professional whose qualifications are recognized and whose practice is governed by a code of ethics and professional standards.

My Background

Precision and Expertise for Your Important Documents

As a certified translator and member of the OTTIAQ, I hold both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in translation.

Recipient of the 2025 Mary-Coppin Award – OTTIAQ Excellence and winner of the 2023 regional final of the Dictée des écrivains Hydro-Québec, I pay particular attention to terminological accuracy and the quality of every translation.

Every translation is reviewed by a second professional translator as an additional quality-assurance measure.

Particular care is also given to formatting in order to reproduce the presentation of the original document as closely as possible.

My Commitment

Precision Down to the Finest Details

Translating an official document involves more than transferring words from one language to another. Names, dates, terminology, formatting, seals, and annotations must all be handled with precision
when the translation is intended for an official purpose.
